Keath Silva (they/them) is a queer and green-witch poet whose poetry centers the trans experience, nature, plants, death, grief, change and healing. 

Silva’s mission is to give authentic voice to the transgender experience and provide a nourishing landscape for gender liberation and collective trauma healing through reconnection with nature and soul.

Keath’s poems “Thank You My Allies” and “At the Center of Things” are the lyrics in a song written by Alana Balagot called “Thank You My Allies”. Keath sings with the the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles and recites his poetry in the single and music video.

Award-winning UK trans musician Amity Miller adapted Silva’s poems into lyrics in his songs. Silva’s poems were the centerpiece for Masks and Metamorphosis a tribute to the trans community by the fifty-piece orchestra, The Gay Freedom Band of Los Angeles.

Along with their work being featured in the trans youth advocacy educator’s handbook, “The Advocate Educator,” Silva’s poetry has been used in high school and college Transgender Studies curriculum throughout the US and UK.

Keath’s poem “No Place Like Home” won H.O.W.’s Spring Poetry Contest in 2026 and their poems have been published in the Trans Advocacy Coalition of Oklahoma’s Zine.

Keath has self published their own poetry since the age if 16. It all began with the xerox machine and more recently Silva published two poetry chapbooks dedicated to the transgender community Lady Death and other Poems Venerating Change (2021) and King Crone and the Empty Nest (2023)

Keath is currently working on a manuscript to submit to publishers for a wider reach.

Silva offers a variety of healing sessions and workshops virtually and in Los Angeles and Oregon where they dance, garden, hike and enjoy time with friends and family.
